To reach support level S with an ally, you will first need to obtain the Pact Ring in Fire Emblem Engage. While romance isn’t necessarily on the cards, having S-rank support with a character is the strongest bond you can achieve in the tactical role-playing game.
So, where do you recover the Pact Ring from? After you have beaten Chapter 22, you can complete a Paralogue called The Connector. We won’t spoil which characters are involved as part of it, but your reward for conquering the battle that it presents you with will be the Pact Ring.
Once retrieved, the game will explain that once you have reached support level A with an ally you will be able to gift them the Pact Ring to strengthen your bond even further. It will warn you that the Pact Ring is a one-time use item, and you should therefore choose its recipient carefully.
When you are ready to use it, you will be able to find the ring in the Memento Drawer in My Room on the Somniel. Your quickest option is to access the Somniel Map (X Button) and warp to your room, where you will find the Memento Drawer to examine on the right-hand side.
After taking out the Pact Ring from inside it, you then simply need to find the character that you want to gift it to. Interact with them and the “Pact Ring” option will appear, which will then ask you to confirm that you definitely want to hand it over. If you cannot find a particularl character on the Somniel, then the game recommends that you rest on your bed in My Room to cycle the units that appear.
