SXSW 2016 has revised the listing for SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog: 25 Year Anniversary panel, having now added that a “special reveal will be made as part of the celebration for this anniversary milestone.”

The panel will celebrate 25 years since Sonic the Hedgehog first saw release on the SEGA Genesis, and promises to “take an in-depth look at his Sonic’s rich history across gaming, TV, merchandise and more.”

Sonic social media manager Aaron Webber and SEGA product development director Austin Keys will host, and are to be joined by Sonic creator Yuji Naka, Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka, and voice actors Mike Pollock and Roger Smith.

The Sonic the Hedgehog: 25 Year Anniversary panel will take place on Saturday 19th March between 3.30pm – 4.15pm in Ballroom C at the Austin Convention Center.
