Extra Nice has announced that SCHiM will be released on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
What exactly is a schim? The developer explains that they are the soul and spirit of an object, thing or living being and that everything in the world has one. They should never be separated from their thing!
When a schim attached to a human being is separated from them early on in the game, you must leap from shadow to shadow to help them reunite before it is too late.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Unique 3D platforming through shadows.
- Animated shadow platforms and environments.
- Each level has its own scenery with small stories.
- A story of a person losing their shadow.
- A beautiful abstract world.
SCHiM will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 18 July 2024.
