SEGA and Two Point Studios have released a software update for Two Point Hospital on Nintendo Switch.

This has added the free Sandbox Mode which promises “a world of limitless creativity.” You will have unlimited amounts of cash and Kudosh to spend, every item in the game unlocked, the chance to build the hospital you want wherever you want and the chance to turn off epidemics as well as other in-game events.

The management sim places you in the role of a hospital administrator, challenging you to build, cure, and constantly improve your hospital empire.

You will need to train your staff and deal with their wide-ranging personality traits, especially if you want to beat the local healthcare competition in Two Point County. And, while you won’t be able to save every patient, there are ghost-capturing janitors that can help.

Thanks to community feedback, new features have been added to the game since it was released on PC – such as Interior Designer, copy-paste room layouts, and character customisation.

These are included in the Nintendo Switch port, as well as the Bigfoot and Pebberley Island expansions – adding snowy and tropical regions.

Two Point Hospital is now available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
