SEGA and Two Point Studios have announced that Two Point Hospital has suffered a delay, and will now release on Nintendo Switch “in the first half of 2020.”
“Our community has asked for Two Point Hospital on consoles for a while now and we want to make sure we deliver a game that can be enjoyed to the fullest on all platforms,” explains Two Point Studios game director Mark Webley.
“This means we will need a little bit more time to optimise the game to ensure the best possible experience across all platforms.”
The management sim places you in the role of a hospital administrator, challenging you to build, cure, and constantly improve your hospital empire.
You will need to train your staff and deal with their wide-ranging personality traits, especially if you want to beat the local healthcare competition in Two Point County. And, while you won’t be able to save every patient, there are ghost-capturing janitors that can help.
Thanks to community feedback, new features have been added to the game since it was released on PC – such as Interior Designer, copy-paste room layouts, and character customization.
These will be included in the Nintendo Switch port, as well as the Bigfoot and Pebberley Island expansions – adding snowy and tropical regions.
Two Point Hospital will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in the first half of 2020.
