With no first-party games penciled in the calendar beyond Yoshi’s Crafted World in March, many had expected a Nintendo Direct presentation to outline what’s on the way to Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
That didn’t happen last month, but it sounds like we won’t have to wait much longer. That’s according to known insider King Zell who, in a Nintendo Direct speculation thread on ResetEra, has teased that “13 is your lucky number….. and am out.” With a proven track record, that could mean that the next presentation may broadcast on Wednesday 13th February.
There’s plenty in the pipeline that we already know about to look forward to. Daemon X Machina, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Fire Emblem: Three Houses are all scheduled for release in 2019, and there are others, like Bayonetta 3, that we haven’t seen in a long while.
