Nintendo and PlatinumGames have announced that Bayonetta 3 is in development, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

The news was shared at The Game Awards where, after announcing that Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will also see release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo of America president and CEO Reggie Fils-Aime teased that they had one more announcement to add.

That was that a brand-new chapter in the blazing fast action series was coming to Nintendo Switch, a teaser trailer showing Bayonetta taking shots at an unknown attacker.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America on February 16th, and in Japan on February 17th.
