Nintendo has announced that a new mainline game in the Animal Crossing series is in development for Nintendo Switch, news that was shared to close out today’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
This is first game since the globally popular Animal Crossing: New Leaf launched on Nintendo 3DS way back in 2013.
Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch (working title) will release for the portable home console worldwide in 2019.
