British singer Rita Ora has become the latest celebrity to join the Detective Pikachu cast, the live-action Pokémon movie that will already star Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, and Ryan Reynolds, who will voice the investigative electric mouse.
Hollywood Reporter were the ones to break the news, although add that details surrounding Rita Ora’s character are being kept secret for now.
The movie started shooting in London last month and will see the father of the character played by Justice Smith be kidnapped, seeing him team up with Detective Pikachu in order to find him. Kathryn Newton will play a sassy journalist who will help them in their quest.
Last month, The Pokémon Company announced plans to release the Detective Pikachu game as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, and a Detective Pikachu amiibo that is nearly double the height of a standard amiibo.
