Nintendo has revealed that Grezzo is the developer that’s behind the anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for Nintendo Switch.

It was The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma who confirmed the Tokyo-based studio’s role on the game to Kotaku.

Grezzo will be a name known to most for their work on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Ever Oasis, and Luigi’s Mansion on Nintendo 3DS.

In The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, after Link washes ashore on the mysterious Koholint Island he discovers that the only way to escape is to collect the magical instruments that are needed to wake the Wind Fish.

The Game Boy classic has been faithfully rebuilt in a new art style, challenging players to battle enemies, conquer numerous dungeons, and uncover the island’s hidden secrets.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 20th.
