SEGA has announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! will be localised for a western release on Nintendo Switch next year.
Produced by Aniplex, you will have the chance to explore “a dynamic world designed like a board game.”
Based on memorable locations from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, as the time passes from day to night the spaces of each board change. This brings new events and opportunities for you to discover as you plan your next move.
You can choose from fan-favourite characters like Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira and 9 Hashiras, before competing in multiplayer for up to four players whether that be locally or online.
Nezuko Kamado will also appear as a support character, and you will have the chance to participate in “thrilling” mini-games, meet familiar characters, work together to defeat dangerous demons lurking in the night and aim to become the most powerful demon slayer.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2024.
