Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Duplication Glitch Discovered

It has been less than a week since launch, but a duplication glitch has been discovered in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Twitter user ItsBenjaninja has shared a clip demonstrating how it can be performed, but the item that you wish to duplicate will need to be fused to an arrow. Once that is attached then the straightforward glitch will require you to pause your game, drop the bow that you were wielding, equip another, press pause twice “very quickly,” drop your bow again, unpause and then pick up both of your bows from the ground.

We’re sure that it’s easier to see the duplication glitch in action, which you can see in ItsBenjaninja’s tweet below. Given that it takes less than 21 seconds, this can prove to be a worthwhile alternative to the other suggested rupee farming methods. We were able to duplicate 8 Diamonds in as little as five minutes once we understood the method.

The anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will take you across the land and skies of Hyrule, where you will once again have the chance to chart your own path through its sprawling landscapes and mysterious floating islands. You will need to harness the power of Link’s new abilities to fight against the malevolent forces threatening the kingdom.

The game’s launch was supported with the Nintendo Switch OLED Model – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition, which includes a physical copy of the game, an artbook with concept art, a SteelBook case, an Iconart steel poster and a set of four pin badges.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
