Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Stage Demos Announced For Hyper Japan Festival 2016

Nintendo UK has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be shown live for the first time in the United Kingdom at Hyper Japan Festival 2016.

That will see the company host daily on-stage demos of Link’s latest boundary-breaking adventure once per day, as well as Monster Hunter Generations, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, Rhythm Paradise Megamix, Splatoon and Pokkén Tournament, and more games.
For those unable to attend, Nintendo will livestream a selection of on-stage content on their Twitch channel on Saturday 16th July between 10am – 3pm BST.

YouTuber Arekkz Gaming will show off his hunting style in Monster Hunter Generations, taking part in a local multiplayer hunt live on stage. To celebrate the Nintendo 3DS exclusive’s launch, the Nintendo Official UK Store will offer a 50 percent discount on Monster Hunter figurines if you have a photo taken at this area of the Nintendo booth mirroring the monster’s pose.

Comedian Imran Yusuf will also take to the stage to play the best fan-created Super Mario Maker courses. Those that create levels inspired by Hyper Japan will have a chance to see their creations played live on-stage with Nintendo UK, and should share their course ID in the comments section on the relevant post on Nintendo UK’s Facebook and Twitter. Selected levels will be made available to all players to try on the Super Mario Maker Bookmark website after Hyper Japan.

The complete line-up of playable titles at Hyper Japan Festival 2016 on the Nintendo booth is as follows:

Visitors are encouraged to bring their Nintendo 3DS to StreetPass, as well as download demos for games on the Nintendo booth. While there will be a special Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer amiibo card swap area, where visitors can trade with others to help grow their collection.

There will be a unique amiibo photo stand, Miitomo users can showcase their Miifoto skills can be tweeted at Nintendo UK’s Twitter with the hashtags #Miifoto #HyperJapan to win a special Tomodachi Life prize bundle, while the Nintendo Official UK Store will have plenty of offers such as an exclusive 40 percent discount code for Splatoon on the Nintendo eShop that will see it priced at £20.99 (€23.99).

Hyper Japan Festival 2016 takes place between Friday 15th – Sunday 17th July 2016 at the Olympia in London.
