Metalhead Software has announced that Super Mega Baseball 2: Ultimate Edition will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

In this critically acclaimed baseball simulator, you will have the chance to build your dream team, lace up your cleats, and step onto the field for some epic hardball action.

Whether a rookie or baseball purist, the game packs a mode for everyone. You can compete in ranked matchmaking (one-vs-one), dominate friends in arranged matches (one-vs-one, two-vs-one, or two-vs-two), or challenge the AI in solo, local co-op, and online co-op.

The Nintendo Switch port comes with all of the existing downloadable content, will run at 60 frames-per-second in docked and handheld modes, has single Joy-Con support when played head-to-head in local multiplayer, and has cross-platform play with Xbox One and Steam in the Pennant Race mode.

Super Mega Baseball 2: Ultimate Edition will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 25th priced at $29.99.
