Nintendo has announced plans for the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, paid downloadable content that was revealed in this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
The first wave will add Inkopolis, offering you to make this “splat-tastic place” from the original Splatoon game on Wii U your stomping ground. This will also include Inkpolis Plaza which has changed over the past several years with some new shopkeepers, and where you can catch the Squid Sisters perform during Splatfests.
The second wave of downloadable content will launch “in the future” and introduces Side Order, a single-player campaign that will see you explore what has become of Inkopolis Square since Splatoon 2.
Those that pre-order the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass will receive a content pack that contains bonus in-game items.
Splatoon 3 is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
