SEGA has announced that SEGA AGES Fantasy Zone will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

This pastel-coloured arcade hit tells a surprisingly bleak tale about an adorable sentient ship called Opa-Opa, who sets out on a journey for revenge to save the world of Fantasy Zone.

This new version has added a Coin Stock assist feature to help those “not as well versed in shooters,” a Time Attack mode, extra bosses, and the option to play as Opa-Opa’s brother, Upa-Upa.

You can also expect difficulty and stage select options, a reverse time feature, replays, online leaderboards, and other options.

SEGA AGES Fantasy Zone will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 23rd January 2020 priced at £5.99 ($7.99).
