It would appear that Nintendo is preparing to release Kirby Fighters 2 on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.

Unlike Super Kirby Clash, the downloadable game won’t be free-to-start and will instead be priced at $19.99.

“Choose from a cast of Kirby’s most iconic copy abilities – including the brand-new Wrestler ability – and duke it out to be the last Kirby standing,” the game’s description on the Play Nintendo website read before it was removed.

“Familiar friends and foes like Bandana Waddle Dee and King Dedede also make an appearance as playable characters in the Kirby Fighters 2 game, available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch system.”

It sounds like a sequel to 2014’s Kirby Fighters Deluxe on Nintendo 3DS, which was a battle action game for up to four players.

It had expanded on the mode that was first introduced in Kirby Triple Deluxe. You would battle it out in new and classic Kirby arenas using fan-favourite copy abilities such as Sword, Ninja, Hammer and more.
