SEGA has revealed plans to release Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 on Nintendo Switch, once again seeing the legendary puzzle brands collide for the ultimate crossover experience.
Adventure mode returns, promising to deliver another hilarious story packed with an eclectic cast of characters, while you must also utilise special Item Cards to develop new strategies in the new Skill Battle mode.
Whether playing solo or competing in competitive multiplayer offline or online, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 comes packed with modes such as Versus, Fusion, Swap, Party and Big Bang, as well as Tournament and Lessons.
Those that buy the Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Limited Edition will receive a pack of eight rare Item Cards, which will include three special cards based on items from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
There are also plans for downloadable content to be released beyond the game’s launch, with news promised to “be announced at a later date.”
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 8th December 2020.
