Nintendo has announced that more than 107.65 million Nintendo Switch consoles have now been sold worldwide.

In the three months that cover the start of January up until 31st March 2022, 4.11 million Nintendo Switch (OLED Model), Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles were sold.

That means that 23.06 million units were sold in the fiscal year ended March 2022, representing a 20 percent decrease year-on-year. Nintendo attributes this to the lack of a “major driver” like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as well as factors such as “the continued shortages of semiconductor components and other parts.” The company is pleased with sales of the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) – which are “off to a good start” – while the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite “enjoyed stable sales.”

Nintendo has now sold more than 822.18 million Nintendo Switch games, and, if you want to know which are proving to be most popular, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold 45.33 million, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold 38.64 million, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold 28.17 million copies,  The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has sold 26.55 million, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield have sold 24.27 million, while Super Mario Odyssey has sold 23.50 million copies.

Meanwhile, Super Mario Party has sold 17.78 million, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl have sold 14.65 million copies, Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! have sold 14.53 million, and Ring Fit Adventure has sold 14.09 million copies.
