Nintendo Reveal How amiibo Work In Mario Party: Star Rush

The Mushroom Kingdom is nearly ready to party hard once again, and Nintendo has revealed how amiibo will work in Mario Party: Star Rush.

Solo players that scan a compatible amiibo in the Nintendo 3DS exclusive’s Toad Scramble mode will see that character appear as a support character from the start, rewarding you with a rare item to help boost your chances of winning.

If the amiibo has Mario Party 10 save data, players can also receive a special die in-game.

Nintendo will release their new glow-in-the-dark Boo, Donkey Kong, Rosalina and Wario amiibo alongside the party-packed Nintendo 3DS exclusive in Europe on October 7th, with Waluigi, Diddy Kong, and Daisy amiibo to arrive later on November 4th. Whereas in North America, all seven amiibo will release at retailers on November 4th.

Mario Party: Star Rush will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Europe on October 7th, Australia on October 8th, and in North America on November 4th.
