Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. have filed a trademark application for ウルトラシャイニー (Ultra Shiny) in Japan.
As Serebii reports, this won’t necessarily be for the “core RPG Pokémon title” that is in development for Nintendo Switch, with the application covering all manner of things that range from consoles and accessories to card games, amusement parks, chess, and insect gathering equipment.
Whether it relates to the upcoming Nintendo Switch game(s) or a new Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion is unclear, but rest assured as, with a little more patience, it won’t be long before we will finally have a chance to learn more.
