Nintendo 3DS celebrates strong November sales in North America

Nintendo of America can celebrate relative success in November, with the 3DS achieving sales of nearly 770,000 units across North America to see lifetime sales soar past 10 million units.

This was largely lead by Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, each selling 225,000 combined digital and physical copies, whilst The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds saw digital and physical sales reach 405,000 copies.

New adopters also seemingly chose to purchase legacy titles such as Donkey Kong Country 3D, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Mario Kart 7, and Super Mario 3D Land, which the company noted noticeable sales increases.

Now to work toward replicating such success with Wii U…
