Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wins Best Game At BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards

BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards were held at The SSE Arena in Wembley at the weekend, where Mario Kart 8 Deluxe won in the Best Game category.

That saw the Nintendo Switch exclusive racer beat out competition from FIFA 17, Forza Horizon 3, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to win the prize. Last year, it was Pokémon GO that won the category.

The winners across other categories include Love Island as Best TV Show, Stormzy as Most Entertaining Celeb, The Chainsmokers as Best International Group, Beauty and the Beast as Best Film, Little Mix as Best British Group, Ed Sheeran as Best British Solo Artist, Ariana Grande as Best International Solo Artist, Rose & Rosie as Best British Vlogger, Dua Lipa for Best Single with “New Rules,” and Mo Farah as Best British Sports Star.
