Pokémon GO Wins Best Game At BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards

Pikachu took to the stage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, after Pokémon GO scored a victorious battle in the Best Game category.

The awards ceremony took place at The SSE Arena, Wembley on Sunday 23rd October, with BBC Radio 1 listeners having previously placed their vote across numerous categories.

Shawn Mendes scored the greatest success in winning Best International Solo Artist and Best Single, with 5 Seconds of Summer, The Vamps, and Adele securing Best International Group, Best British Group, and Best British Solo Artist respectively. One surprise came in Suicide Squad being named Best Film, especially after it was widely panned by critics.
