Godspeed Games and Jae Lee have announced that Shaolin vs Wutang will release on Nintendo Switch this week.

This one-on-one fighting game has taken inspiration from classic Kung Fu movies, even going as far as to have “authentic fighting sounds from films and a licensed soundtrack with great music from classic kung fu movies.”

Pitched as a “real love letter” to classic 70s and 80s Kung Fu cinema, you will be able to engage in hand-to-hand and weapon combat whether playing alone or in local co-operative multiplayer.

With unique moves and combos for every fighter, there are 27 authentic martial arts styles, dynamic blocking animations and 20 unique stages to battle it out on.

Shaolin vs Wutang will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 14th August 2020.
