Koei Tecmo Are Developing Games For Nintendo NX

Nintendo NX’s arrival may be further away than rumour and speculation had led us to believe, but publishers are at least starting to indicate that they are developing for the “dedicated game platform.”

While Square Enix inadvertently revealed that they were considering porting their games to the platform, Koei Tecmo Games has today made a far firmer announcement in that they actively have games in development for it.

“Koei Tecmo confirm that they are starting development on Nintendo’s new console codenamed ‘NX,'” analyst ZhugeEX shared. “No project announced just yet.”

He added, “If I had to guess I’d say it’s most likely a couple of ports of already released/upcoming games. May get a new game later down the line.”

Koei Tecmo supported Wii U with Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, and Hyrule Warriors.
