NIS America and FuRyu Corporation have announced that a demo for their “serenely dark action RPG” CRYMACHINA is now available on Nintendo Switch.
In a far-flung future 2000 years after the extinction of the human race, the game is set within a vast, outer space structure called Eden.
It is here that self-evolving, artificial synthetic life forms known as Dei ex Machina operate with a single goal. To achieve Human Restoration. However, when Propator, the First Deus ex Machina and overseer of Eden, is lost, its disappearance opens a rift between the remaining Dei ex Machina.
You will have the chance to join three E.V.E., the recreated psyches of deceased humans instilled in synthetic bodies as they seek their full-fledged humanity and uncover the secrets that are hidden within Eden.
Promising that its “flashy, action-packed combat paired with in-depth weapon customisation” will create “a visually stunning RPG experience,” the game’s dark scenery and sci-fi visuals bring its world to life.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:

CRYMACHINA will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in North America on 24 October, Europe on 27 October and across Australia and New Zealand on 3 November 2023.
