Tencent Games has announced that their epic multiplayer online battle arena game Arena of Valor will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

The free-to-start game will see you command a roster that boasts 39 fearless heroes – all unlocked for free for the first three days – that each have their own role to play in battles such as tanks, assassins, mages, and warriors. Several more heroes will join the roster in the months following launch.

Those that have already made progress on mobile devices can unlock content on Nintendo Switch using Valor Club, a one-time account syncing program. Players will receive “a one-time allotment of in-game currency relative to the number of heroes they’ve unlocked on their mobile account.”

After building a powerful team with friends, you will enter the arena to crush your opponents in real-time combat with the ultimate goal to become legendary from your bloodthirsty victories.

The standard 5v5 matches will see you move around a classic three-land arena, watching out for any enemies that may be lurking in wait, with other modes to participate in such as 3v3, 1v1, and a Hook Wars mode that will prove your valor as a true champion.

Arena of Valor will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 25th.
