Headup Games has announced that Windscape will release on Nintendo Switch, a first-person open-world exploration game by developer Dennis Witte that has been inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Secret of Mana and Golden Axe.

You will have the chance to explore a handcrafted fantasy world situated across floating islands in the sky. From its multiple inspirations, Windscape has looked to combine modern exploration, crafting, and survival games, to result in blending such genres.

There are NPCs to meet in the overworld, murky dungeons and lairs to explore, and challenging bosses to topple – requiring strategic thinking to defeat, as you work out their attack patterns to earn loot as your reward.

Windscape will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 27th, with a 20 percent discount available on pre-orders from March 8th.
