Nintendo has announced that new amiibo figures based on Zelda and Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released later this year.
These will both join the Link amiibo that was released to coincide with the hotly anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusive’s launch.
It is unclear whether the amiibo will offer any special rewards for scanning them in-game, aside from, as with other amiibo, randomised weapons and materials or a special fabric for Link’s paraglider.
The Zelda amiibo and Ganondorf amiibo will release at retailers around the world in Winter 2023 (Holiday 2023).
