The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will offer a differentiated experience to that expected of the series, it has been revealed.

Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct saw Satoru Iwata discuss how players were used to securing new items within the next available dungeon, and that puzzles within its darkened halls were usually solved mainly using that item.

A Link Between Worlds will defy such conventions, granting the player the choice as to which order they would like to tackle all dungeons and progress through the story. To do so, the majority of the essential items will be available to purchase or rent through a shop run by Ravio.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will release for Nintendo 3DS across Europe and North America on November 22nd.
