NIS America has now released Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA on Nintendo Switch, but, while many players have started to explore the Isle of Seiren on the portable home console, some have run into issues with the port.

The publisher has assured that they have planned to address these, looking to iron out the problems with four software updates – the first of which is already available.

“Thank you for your support and excitement for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA for Nintendo Switch,” NIS America explains.

“We wanted to outline the schedule for the upcoming patches, which we previously had communicated were coming soon, to address known text refinements and other issues. Due to the worldwide release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA, optimization was the top priority during development, and continues to be our focus.”
