Yoshi’s Woolly World makes UK chart debut in fourth place

At risk of being overshadowed by Batman: Arkham Knight, the irrepressibly adorable Yoshi’s Woolly World has gotten off to a “great start” in the UL according to Chart-Track.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment were left to celebrate topping the UK All-Formats chart for the fourth time, whereas Nintendo’s Wii U exclusive platformer debuted in fourth place.

That’s a more impressive achievement when you look at the Individual Formats chart, where it was only outpaced by Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and LEGO Jurassic World on Xbox 360.

It was more negative tumbles elsewhere, with Splatoon falling outside of the top 10 to 19th, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & Nintendo 3DS dropping three places to 33rd, and Mario Kart 8 crossing the finishing line in 36th place – another fall by four places.
