Ever the type to include hidden easter eggs within his games, it has emerged that Hideo Kojima has snuck a Yoshi plushies into Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.
Players will be able to locate these throughout the entirety of the Nintendo 3DS release, one having currently been spotted atop a tall wooden beam – part of a bridge that you must cross early on in the game.
If you locate all the Yoshis, it is reported that players will be rewarded with a secret stealth item.
The game once again includes a range of in-game magazines, the Japanese version having issues of Famitsu, Shonen Jump, Dengeki, Gemaga and New Type.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is currently available across North America, and is due to release next week in Europe on March 9th.

As far as I’m aware you can’t pick them up, but they are all over the place. Shooting them makes a noise. Does anyone know more about this rumor?
