We’ve enthusiastically made our way through numerous LEGO titles to be enthused by news that Warner Bros. have announced the production of The LEGO Movie.
The directors of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs have been enlisted “for the biggest movie ever assembled,” with a cast that boasts film industry veterans Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Chris Pratt.
It follows Emmet, an ordinary LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.
The bad news is that we’ll have to wait until February 14th 2014 to see it in cinemas, but it most certainly looks well worth the wait.
