Wii U System Update 5.5.5 Now Available (With Patch Notes)

Nintendo has released a new Wii U system update worldwide, with the console’s current version now on 5.5.5.

The last system update that the console received was in June 2019. And, at this point, it is impossible to tell what this most recent update has really done.

For the four most recent system updates, Nintendo has simply continued to state that: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
