The Nintendo Network underwent a lengthy maintenance period overnight, and this morning Nintendo has pushed live a new system update for Wii U.
This updates the console’s firmware to version 5.5.1, but becomes another ambiguous release in which Nintendo only share that it delivers improvements to “overall system stability and other minor adjustments.”
Whether it holds any surprises that could be shared later is unknown, but it has been some time since there was any dramatic additions to the console.
