Wii U missing out Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag DLC

Earlier in the week, Ubisoft announced a season pass that would deliver a slate of downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.

Saving players 20 percent compared to buying such content individually, purchasers could secure themselves an exclusive Kraken Ship Pack, additional missions, weapons, skins and collectibles, and new multiplayer characters – all headlined by Freedom Cry, a nine mission self-contained story that sees you in the role of Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale.

Yet the Wii U version has sprung a leak, with Ubisoft confirming that the console will receive neither the season pass nor the downloadable content itself. Time for a swig of rum…
