Wii U Image Share tool shares screenshots to Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr

Echoing the tool that they previously implemented for the Nintendo 3DS, the latest Wii U system update allows users to directly share screenshots to Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr.

Plucked from whatever is currently present on either your TV screen or the Wii U GamePad, you’re then required to open the Home button menu, and then navigate your way to https://i.nintendo.net through the Internet Browser.

From here, you can individually chose to share through Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr (or all three at once), after which you choose either of the available images.

More interestingly, having tested the new functionality Nintendo automatically add hashtags to your post, on Twitter at least – #Zelda #WindWaker #WiiU being added to my The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD menu screenshot.
