Watch_Dogs on Wii U requires mandatory install

Watch_Dogs has finally seen release on Wii U, after Ubisoft Bucharest spent time to make it “the best version it can be.”

While early reports suggest that it’s fairly solid port, it’s also been accompanied by an unexpected mandatory install – surely to help alleviate the burden of exploring the open world action-adventure without loading interruptions.

Thankfully the install is small, only requiring an additional 128MB space. It’s still a first for the console, as far as I’m aware, due to the restricted storage space across Basic and Premium Pack hardware.
