Capcom has announced that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will release on Nintendo Switch.

Street Fighter II is remembered as being the game that had helped to define the fighting game genre, and returns with classic characters, brand new features, and Evil Ryu and Violent Ken as two new fighters.

Players can choose to fight in classic pixel-art graphics for a retro nostalgia trip or enjoy a new modern look that has been added for the Nintendo Switch release.

Along with a standard versus mode, players can choose to team up to take on a CPU opponent. Players can also use the two Joy-Con controllers to challenge a second player anywhere.

Capcom has promised to share more details about the game in the coming months.
