With Pokémon TCG: Sun and Moon – Guardians Rising releasing this week, Toys R Us has teamed up with The Pokémon Company to celebrate the expansion’s arrival
Those that visit their local store and spend at least £10 on Pokémon TCG products can receive an exclusive Alolan Vulpix promo card.
The limited edition card is stamped with a Toys R Us logo, and, in becoming available, presents a chance to take a look at the booster packs, theme decks and other products that have seen release this week.
Alolan Vulpix was introduced in Nintendo 3DS exclusives Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, which, after moving to the Alola region with humans, soon moved to the snowy mountain peaks where it soon took on an icy form.
The Fox Pokémon can freeze anything solid by expelling breath at a temperature of −50° C from its mouth. While it doesn’t fare well in the heat, when the temperature gets too high, ice produced from its tail is used to lower the surrounding temperature.
