X.D. Network and Freebird Games have confirmed a release date for To The Moon on Nintendo Switch, the first game in an award-winning two-part story-driven experience about love and loss.
Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts give people another chance to live, but only in the minds of their patients. But, due to the severity of the operation, this new life becomes the last thing that they will remember before passing away.
It is therefore saved for those that are on their deathbeds, presenting them with the chance to fulfil what they haven’t managed to achieve in their lives.
In To The Moon, you will look to realize the dream of an elderly man, Johnny. Fragments of his past will be revealed as you step back in time, with the two doctors needing to piece together the events that happened in his lifetime. And, in doing so, achieve his last wish to go to the moon.
The port has been precisely recreated in Unity, with X.D. Network using the original RPG Maker blueprint to bring it to the portable home console.
To The Moon will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 16th January 2020.
