TicToc Games have their sights set on Wii U, after Nintendo of America approved the Los Angeles-based indie to develop for the console.

That will now see them look to bring Adventures of Pip to the Nintendo eShop, which they are currently seeing Kickstarter backing for. With 27 days to go, they’ve gathered $8,881 worth of pledges toward their $90,000 goal at the time of writing.

The game’s premise revolves around a Dark Queen who steals the Pixel Kingdom’s precious resource – its pixels – reducing all inhabitants to single-pixel lifeforms. It is down to Pip, an unlikely hero, to quest toward the Dark Queen’s stronghold, absorbing the pixels of fallen enemies to evolve himself into a more powerful warrior.

If you’re intrigued, you can watch the brief trailer below. And remember to back the project so that we can make sure it makes its way to Nintendo eShop!
