PLAYISM and Silver Lining Studio have announced that The Star Named EOS is coming to Nintendo Switch early next year.
Pitched as “a story-heavy puzzle adventure game with an emphasis on photography,” you play as Dei, a young photographer who sets out on a journey to follow in the footsteps of his absent mother.
Having regularly received letters from his mother when she was travelling since he was young, each came with a photograph of where she was visiting.
One day, after noticing something strange in one of the pictures she left behind, everything Dei believed was challenged. Guided by his mother’s voice deep within him, it is time that Dei sets out to find the truth and finally move on with his life.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Delve into a beautiful hand-drawn world and capture the fleeting moments that shape one’s life.
- Recreate old photographs and uncover the long-lost truth of a family mystery, and fragmented memories will help you find a love that was long left unrealized.
- With a perfect blend of a gorgeous hand-drawn artstyle and story-heavy puzzle game mechanics, The Star Named EOS will take you on a dazzling, fantastical journey of reminiscence.
The Star Named EOS will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Spring 2024.
