Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment have confirmed that The Outer Worlds will release on Nintendo Switch in March.

Now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, Virtuos Games has handled the port to the portable home console.

The Outer Worlds will be made available as a boxed version at retail that contains a redeemable code to download the game, and as a direct purchase on the Nintendo eShop.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, in this single-player sci-fi RPG you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony.

As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

The Outer Worlds will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 6th March 2020 priced at £49.99 ($59.99).
