The Legend of Zelda fan documentary hits Kickstarter

Crowd-funding extraordinaire site Kickstarter now plays home to a fan project regarding The Legend of Zelda.

Florida-based Joe Granato has proposed the creation of a documentary called “It’s Dangerous To Go Alone… The Movie” that seeks to explore the cultural impact of Nintendo’s celebrated franchise.

Granato and his team are looking to secure $50,000 funding by the start of June, with the project estimated to be delivered to backers by December.

Pledges range between $5 to $250, the highest rewarding backers with the “Master Sword Package” that includes a DVD within a custom NES game box complete with a manual mock-up for the film. Bonus footage is also included, alongside your name being added to the credits.
