Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles releasing on 3DS this summer

The pizza-fuelled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aren’t only gearing up for their blockbuster return in Paramount Pictures’ movie this summer, but the half-shelled heroes are to also star in their own third-person action game.

Set to release for 3DS, this will see Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello square off against Baxter Stockman’s mutant and robotic forces and the shadowy armies of the Foot Clan who are terrorising New York City.

Crafted by French developer Magic Pockets, who have plenty of experience working on DS and 3DS, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will place emphasis on quick hack-and-slash gameplay. Players can select between the four main characters at will, each with their own characteristics, while they will become stronger by gaining levels and can equip new weaponry crafted at the Turtle’s Lair.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will release exclusively for 3DS this summer.
