Matt Makes Games has announced that their super-tight, hand-crafted action-platformer Celeste will see release on Nintendo Switch this month.

The narrative-driven, single-player adventure will challenge players to help Madeline survive her inner demons as she journeys to the top of Celeste Mountain.

Madeline can climb any surface as long as she has enough stamina, and when playing in Assist Mode players can freely tweak the difficulty – whether that be at a slower pace or to full-on invincibility.

And while Celeste has more than 600 screens of hardcore platforming challenges and devious secrets, there are also unlockable B-side chapters whose brutal challenges have been built for only the bravest mountaineers.

Celeste will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on January 25th.
