Nintendo have revealed that Super Mario 3D will feature a level in honour of the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series.
The level, showcased by producer Yoshiaki Koizumi yesterday during Nintendo’s first-party roundtable discussion, saw the viewpoint switch to a top-down perspective (similar to The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past) that then saw Mario moving between rooms as he dodged familiar obstacles and was tasked with solving puzzles.
Additionally, Koizumi also confirmed that as well as the Raccoon Suit, end-level flagpoles and the classic Mario B-dash are to return!
